Shaving the brake-disks level Smooth braking requires level brake disks. Unfortunately with wear-and-tear brake disks will not be level – if this is the case we will shave the disks brakes level or replace the disks.
Replace disk-pads Disk-pads wear relative to the driving style and amount of vehicle use. Derby Auto Mechanics will replace your disk-pads if required.
Replacing brake-fluid-lines Sometimes brake fluid lines are damaged and need replacing.
Replace brake-fluid A top-up or replacement of brake fluid.
Bleed the brakes After performing most brake servicing – bleeding the brakes is needed. Sometimes bleeding the brakes is a service performed to increase the braking performance.
Replace the brake-sensor As soon as your foot puts pressure on the brake pedal sensor is triggered which in turn switches the vehicle’s brake lights on. If the sensor is faulty, we will replace it.
Replace the brake-sensor cables If the brake-sensor cables are damaged we will replace it.
Replacing brake-light bulbs / LEDs If the brake-lights are not working and the fault is diagnosed as it being a faulty bulb or LED, we will replace the faulty part for a new one.
Replace the brake-light fitting If the brake light fitting is broken due to an accident, we will replace the broken brake-light fitting
